팀 한산 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻
/ 《이 해 바다 Waves Leave Time Behind》(김진주 기획)
팀 한산의 〈진주실로 꿰어서 보배〉(2025)는 회화 작가 3인—양연희, 정하슬린, 조휘경과 관찰자 홍자영이 기획자의 아버지 집과 마을에 벽화를 그리며 배운 '우리가 되기'의 감각을 현장 설치로 번안한다. 올해 여름, 팀 한산은 한산도로 3박 4일의 여정을 떠났다. 시작은 약 15년 전, 자신이 사는 마을이 벽화로 꾸며지기를 소망한 기획자의 아버지 김종훈의 염원이었다. 도시에서 온 이들이 섬에 머무르는 동안 아버지와 마을 주민들은 직접 낚시를 해서 잡은 물고기, 반찬, 과일, 자동차, 휴식처 등을 제공하며 매일같이 작가들을 돌보고, 스스럼없이 환대해 주었다. 팀 한산은 이들과 나눈 온정 어린 이야기를 전시장에 풍경처럼 펼쳐 되새긴다. 작품은 수행된 벽화를 재현하는 일을 넘어, 그 시간과 관계 속에서 피어난 공명을 하나의 사건으로 제시한다.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 (2025) by Team Hansan translates into a site-specific installation the sense of “becoming we,” an understanding they gained while creating murals in the curator’s father’s village. This past summer, Team Hansan embarked on a four-day journey to Hansan Island. The project began with a wish by the curator’s father, made some fifteen years ago: to see his village decorated with murals. During these days, the residents offered fish, side dishes, fruit, and places to rest. Above all, the father watched over the artists daily with profound care. The adapted installation in the exhibition is more than a reproduction of the murals; it presents as a singular event the resonance that bloomed within that time and those relationships.
